BECOME A MEMBER

Join a passionate community dedicated to sheepdog trialling and working dog welfare across Victoria.

Whether you're a seasoned handler, breeder, or just getting started, VWSDA membership offers access to trials, insurance coverage, community events, and regular updates via our member newsletter. You can apply online or download a form and submit it via email or post. Memberships renew annually and are confirmed once payment and paperwork are received and ratified by the Council.

HOW TO JOIN

You can apply for membership via:

Please note: Memberships are not valid until forms are received and approved by the Council.

Online Payments:
Secure credit card payments are accepted (a small processing fee applies). Membership renews automatically unless cancelled.

You can manage your membership and payment methods by signing into your membership portal.

Do not pay before 30 June. Forms must still be submitted for Direct Deposit/Cheque payments.

  • Full Membership

    125$
    Every year
    Eligible for Novice, Improver & Open Trials. Includes access to training days, competition insurance, admin support and newsletter.
     
    • Payment due 1–31 July. Price increases after July.

  • Family Membership (2 Adults)

    210$
    Every year
    Valid for two adults (and their children up to 16 y/o). Eligible for Novice, Improver & Open Trials. Includes access to training days, competition insurance, admin support and newsletter.
     
    • Payment due 1–31 July. Price increases after July.

  • Pensioner Membership

    100$
    Every year
    Discounted full membership for eligible pensioners. Includes access to training days, competition insurance, admin support and newsletter.
     
    • Payment due 1–31 July. Price increases after July.

  • Junior Membership

    35$
    Every year
    For triallers under 18. Includes trial participation and newsletter.
     
    • Payment due 1–31 July.

  • Associate Membership

    45$
    Every year
    Insurance coverage for Encourage/Farmers trial classes and training days. Includes newsletter.
     
    • Payment due 1–31 July.

  • Interstate Membership

    70$
    Every year
    For financial members of other state associations competing in Victoria. Proof of membership required.
     
    • Not eligible for High Point Dog of the Year.

  • Sponsor Membership

    35$
    Every year
    Support VWSDA and stay up to date with newsletters and trial updates.
